In the south of Tanzania, Nyerere National Park, located in Selous Game Reserve, is the largest national park in Africa. Hundreds of species of plants, mammals, and birds. A tower of giraffes galloping over the plains, a herd of gazelles grazing, a pride of lions sunbathing, a gang of buffaloes staring at you, a flock of rollers passing by… and last but not least, Selous is one of the few sites where you still can find several packs of African wild dogs.

A boat safari on the majestic Rufiji River, brings you close to the hippos, crocs, and birdlife, and is a must-do activity.

World’s best known national park, a World Heritage site since 1979, the habitat of thousands of buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants and giraffes. All being watched by lions, cheetahs and leopards.

The annual Migration over the “endless plains” (the meaning of “Serenget” in Maa, the language of the Maasai) is a once in a lifetime experience, not to be missed. The massive number of wildebeests and zebras is one of the most impressive things to see.

When we fly from Serengeti National Park, Seronera airstrip, to Zanzibar, we have a brief stop at Arusha airport. For guests coming back from safari, on the way to Zanzibar, the ideal opportunity to catch a flight to the beach.

If you want to go to Arusha from Zanzibar, you also can fly with us, and do some bush sightseeing by air, at Serengeti National Park, Seronera airstrip, before arriving in Arusha.

Plane description

Cessna 208 Caravan

The Cessna 208 Caravan is a single-engine light turboprop utility aircraft produced by the US-American manufacturer Cessna Aircraft Company.

It is a sturdy bush plane that can comfortably seat 13 passengers. The plane has the perfect build, to get you safely to any airstrip in Southern Tanzania.

Embraer EMB 120

The Embraer EMB 120 is a twin-engine turboprop commuter aircraft manufactured by the Embraer of Brazil.

The aircraft has proved to be a popular, relatively fast regional transport aircraft, accommodating up to 30 passengers. The aircraft has a pressurised cabin.

The 2 Pratt & Whitney 1340hp turboprops will take you from Zanzibar to the wildlife in the Serengeti National Park or Selous Game Reserve in no time. By having these two engines, night flights are also allowed.
